This week Gerald Hector welcomes to his 50th episode of It's Easy Son, Dr. Samantha Madhosingh. Psychologist, author, motivational speaker, executive coach, mother and friend. She shares her journey from her early years living in the UK, to Jamaica, to the USA and what those moves taught her about her family and herself. Always the inspiration, she shares her highs and lows in those moves, and how those experiences shaped her thinking and work she does today.
A very unselfishness person, she gives of her time and talents to inspire people to see past their stations in life to unlock their full potential. "I had to change because if I wanted my life to be different, I had to be different." This simple quote summarizes this impactful and timely conversation. She walks us through how to recognize how our brains process what we see and experience and provides tips on how to get back on track. We are all grateful that she made that change early on, as her work spanned youth in middle and high schools, young men in correctional facilities, parents of troubled children, all the way up to corporate executives who are trying to shape a culture that will drive success. She has assisted with both national and international disasters like Hurricane Katrina and the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. She has appeared on NBC, CBS, Fox and a host of podcast and interviews. Listen in this upcoming Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 8pm (EST) to hear another impactful journey to purpose. Tell a friend (or better yet listen together) and discuss this powerful episode around mental health and liberation from negative thinking.
